Tomorrow is go time for my Classical Christian "CC" Worldview Scripture Reading Plan experiment with my Challenge B class. And while this project has been stewing in my mind for years, it is finally taking shape . . .
My current working outline for Part I of Classical Christian "CC" Worldview Bible Study:
i. Week 1 - God's Story - Creation (Genesis 1:1), The Fall (Romans 3:23), Redemption (Titus 2:13-14), Restoration (Isaiah 65:17, Revelation 21:1)
ii. Week 2 - To Know God (Jeremiah 9:23-24)
iii. Week 3 - The Gospel (1 Corinthians 15:1-4)
iv. Week 4 - To Make Him Know (Matthew 28:19-20)
v. Week 5 - Soli Deo Gloria (1 Corinthians 10:31, Colossians 3:17, Colossians 3:23-24)
I highly recommend anyone who is interested in Christian worldview analysis to listen to Albert Mohler's The Briefing - "News and events from a Christian worldview" - each day; I listen on my morning commute. On Fridays he takes questions from listeners.
This past Friday he defined the term "Creation Order". It is necessary to understand this term and concept because it helps frame a Christian worldview.
I highly recommend listening to Part III on Creation Order:
I was concerned this was going to be too involved, but it's quick and to the point with good, straightforward questions. Nice!
